Our Responsibilities

As Principal Designers, DMC Walling will:

✔ Plan, manage, monitor, and coordinate health and safety in the pre-construction phase to identify and mitigate risks before work begins.
✔ Review relevant information—including existing health and safety files—to ensure all design decisions are made with safety in mind.
✔ Assist and advise the client in compiling essential pre-construction information, ensuring designers and contractors have the details they need to fulfil their duties safely.
✔ Collaborate with all project designers to eliminate foreseeable health and safety risks, and where risks cannot be fully eliminated, take steps to minimize or control them.
✔ Encourage clear communication and coordination between all stakeholders involved in the pre-construction phase to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
✔ Liaise with the principal contractor, ensuring they are informed of any health and safety risks that need to be managed during the construction phase.
