Scope of Work: Full design, supply, and installation of curtain walling systems, including protective elements and specialist components.

Project Description:

The project involved the installation of a high-performance curtain wall system across the building’s 4-core ground floor and Level 1 areas. The works included:

• Fabrication and installation of curtain wall units
• Integration of spandrel panels/glass/fire barriers/louvres for fire safety and thermal performance
• Installation of PAS 24–compliant louvres to enhance ventilation while maintaining security standards
• On-site protection measures to maintain façade integrity during the construction period

Our responsibility covered the complete design, engineering, supply, and installation of the façade package.

Challenges Faced:

1. Tight Programme Duration

The project required completion within a strict 3-month window, leaving limited buffer for design amendments, supply lead times, or site delays.

2. Coordination Across Multiple Cores

Working on four separate building cores required careful planning and sequencing to avoid clashes with other trades and maintain safe site operations.

3. Ensuring Compliance with High Security Standards

Integrating PAS 24–rated louvres into the curtain wall system required precise detailing and quality control to maintain both aesthetic and security specifications.
