Project

Managing Director – Kelly McKie

I’m extremely proud of what we have achieved since DMC Walling was established in 2008. The company is continuing to go from strength to strength, thanks to our team’s dedication to providing high quality results with great customer service!

As MD, I have a very varied role, overseeing the smooth running of our company, in close partnership with the Operations Director and our Leadership Team.

Operations Director – Darren McKie

Having started my career on the tools and worked through the ranks to my current role, I developed a deep understanding of our business helping me to identify potential risks, engage with opportunities as they are presented and to see the wider picture when setting strategic goals, and overseeing the flow of operations.

My hands on experience in various roles, aids me to support our team through the various phases of each project, to identify and embrace opportunities and navigate challenges that each job role may encounter.

I have over 20 years’ experience in Cladding and Recladding projects which has supported the company from having an in-depth knowledge of how to get things right first time. Ensuring that DMC maintain the highest standards across quality control and health and safety.

Business Development Manager – Ron MacDonald

With 38 years of experience in the industry across several disciplines including Consultancy, Major Developers and Tier 1 Main Contractors. BSc in Engineering, FRICS, MNZIQS, ACI Arb. My experience in the cladding sector spans 10 years with projects in New Zealand, Australia and the UK. These have been major upgrade programs following not only Grenfell but Cladding failures elsewhere in the world. I am a former Director of two major developer groups within the re cladding arms of Barratt and Berkeley Group.

Pre-Construction Manager – Nick Jacobs

I have 16 years of skills and experience in the construction and cladding industry. Starting as a fixer, I moved to site management, then project management I now utilise these experiences and understanding building systems, including design, materials, insulation, and maintenance gained, in my role as Pre-construction Manager.

Progressing through the company has given me extensive knowledge of various materials and various installation methods for different systems. Allowed me to develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards in installation, and aids me in handling on site challenges efficiently, including unexpected issues such as weather conditions, material shortages, and installation errors.

Commercial Manager – Sean O’Sullivan

I joined DMC Walling in 2018 as a Quantity Surveyor, moving from an MEPH company into Facades, where I’ve since learnt a lot about cladding and curtain walling. Over the past six years, I’ve grown along with the company from being the sole Quantity Surveyor to leading as the Commercial Manager, with the support of an assistant QS. This journey has given me hands-on experience in managing complex projects, handling budgets, and driving the commercial success of our team.

Designer – Szymon Szymborski

I am a façade designer with 19 years’ experience in the industry. Throughout this time, I have gained valuable knowledge and experience working with most of the building façade systems and products including: SFS, Rainscreen Cladding and Curtain walling.

As a Head of Design, I manage an indoors design team and coordinate a design provided by external draughtsmen and consultants. Also, I attend the design meetings and liaise with the clients, contractors, architects and consultants.

Estimating Manager – Aiden Bristow

Over the past 5 years, my knowledge and experience has expanded greatly as the company has continued to grow and build their portfolio.
As head estimator at DMC my role focuses on the preparation of estimates by reviewing project documents, drawings and specifications. I have the responsibility of creating proposals for tender submissions, detailing the estimated costs and timelines of a project. Within my role, I work alongside the project managers, the procurement manager and the pre-construction team to ensure the most accurate prices and details are submitted to clients.

Quantity Surveyor – Michael Asante

Joining DMC Walling as a graduate quantity surveyor has significantly shaped my professional journey. The learning opportunities and experiences to date have been invaluable and have greatly contributed to my growth and development. I look forward to applying these insights to contribute even more effectively to the success of upcoming projects and the growth of our company.

Designer – Sotirios Misias

Over the past six years with DMC, I have expanded my knowledge and developed professionally while working as a façade designer on some amazing projects in London and the surrounding areas.

Creating architectural drawings for each project: Façade Elevations, Plans, SFS Drawings, Window and Curtain Wall Drawings. Construction details according to system applied. Support System drawings and details as well constant site communication and advise. Order preparation, schedules and manufacture drawings according to the requirements. Site survey when required.

Pre-Construction Manager – Gabriel Cantwell

With 8 years’ experience in the fire safety industry and both NEBOSH and Level 3 fire safety certification, I joined DMC in 2023 as the pre-construction manager with the goal to assist with the development of a pre-construction team. This has been successful as the company is continuing to expand within it’s sector as a principal contractor.

My role involves investigation works, design collaboration, planning and scheduling, quality assurance and reporting.
Whilst government fire safety regulations continue to change, my background, knowledge and experience put me in a strong position to meet such requirements. 

Project Manager – Ervinas Markevicius

As Contract Manager at DMC, I take pride in the quality of my work with over 17 years experience in various construction sectors. I have been part of DMC Walling for 16 years. During that time I have used and developed many skills required for my role. My day to day involves a great deal of planning, coordinating and management with the goal to produce the upmost quality across all our projects. I see my role as pivotal in ensuring that projects are carried out smoothly and in line with the contract, which I take very seriously. 

Purchasing Manager – Janine Newell

With 7 years’ experience in the construction industry, I joined DMC in Oct 2017.  As a senior buyer I am responsible for sourcing and procuring the highest quality materials and services, ensuring every project is completed on time and within budget.

In a constantly evolving industry, I am committed to sustainability and cost efficiency, always seeking out new technologies and materials that will enhance the quality of our projects.

I am looking forward to continuing to learn and professionally develop, as the company grows.

Site Manager – Paulius Jankauskis

Since joining DMC Walling in 2021 from an internal contractors background, I’ve had the opportunity to manage large-scale projects, working on cladding, curtain walls, and external façade systems. Over time, I’ve developed a deeper understanding of fire safety and the technical requirements specific to external façades. I’ve focused on improving site efficiency and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.

My approach emphasizes collaboration, clear communication, and strong coordination with suppliers and subcontractors, which has helped lead to successful

Resident Liaison Office – Jennifer Knowles

Throughout my time at DMC, over the past 3 and a half years, I have been involved in the internal processes of the company working as PA to the director and as of recently the relationship liaison officer, thus working alongside and as part of the pre-construction team.

As Resident Liaison Officer I play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of projects by managing relationships and communications with residents, addressing concerns, and ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Site Supervisor – Kestutis Zideckas

Over 20 years of experience in various sectors of construction.

Skills include: Management, Teamwork, Problem Solving, Motivation, Power Tools, Leadership.

My role includes:

Health and safety management

Supervision of workers and subcontractors

Assisting project managers in planning work

Manage orders and deliveries of construction materials

Organising staff work schedules

Ensuring that work is carried out safely

Completing records for site reports

Attend site management meetings

Office Manager/PA – Sharon Tindale

With 15 years of Office Management and PA duties in the construction industry, and 25+ years overall experience in administration, I joined DMC in May of 2024.

Bringing to the role my background in the sector coupled with training and experience in conducting internal audits, I’m enjoying working with the management team to maintain and increase the company’s compliance and accreditation offering, while undertaking the day-to-day duties of my combined role of Office Manager and PA.

DMC is growing, and I look forward to utilizing my skills to assist with this expansion, while continuing to learn and professionally develop, with the company.

Designer – Romeo San Miguel

I am a façade Technician with 30+ years’ experience in the industry. Throughout this time I have gained valuable knowledge working with most of the building façade systems and products including: SFS, Rainscreen Cladding and Stick type Curtain walling as well as Unitised Curtain Walling.
